I live my life in a swirling teacup ride
Little more than a confusing blur from the inside
Sometimes glorious, sometimes horrifying

I need friends with me in the cup to
Share the screams, tears and laughter
But I also need someone outside to see the reality
The colors, the beauty, the joy

Sometimes truth can only be seen from outside the ride
